Itinerary

Welcome to Greece, known as the cradle of civilization and the birthplace of democracy. Get ready to start an adventure that you will cherish for eternity; the city of ancient ruins anticipates your arrival.
Meet and greet at Athens International Airport and get transferred to your Hotel in Athens. The day is at leisure for you to explore the city on your own.
Overnight stay in Athens.

The sightseeing tour will start at 08:00 A.M. and the duration is of 5 hours, the tour will begin from Acropolis to Omonia Square with a photo stop at Panathenaic Stadium which means "beautifully marbled" and is the world's only stadium made entirely of marble. You will then pass the Athens Trilogy, including the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library.

Continue passing by the National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution,Square, and Russian Orthodox Church. Continue passing by the temple of Olympian Zeus (visit renovated Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon and Erchteion).

Finally, reach the Acropolis Museum Tour where you will explore universal symbols of the classical spirit and civilization and form the greatest architectural and artistic complex bequeathed by Greek Antiquity to the world.

Welcome to Mykonos, famously called 'the island of the winds' due to the constant wind that blows, is the most popular and cosmopolitan island of the Cyclades and considered as one the most famous islands of the world.

Upon arrival, at Mykonos Port get transferred to your hotel. The day is at leisure for you to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Mykonos.

Enjoy your stay in the island of Aeolos (God of the Wind), Mykonos. Breakfast is served at the hotel.

Take the opportunity to swim into the crystal blue Mykonian sea and take a sip of a mouthwatering cocktail by its golden beaches. Take a walk around its many well preserved windmills and hundreds of little white houses and do not miss visiting the historical ancient site of Delos.

Nothing can quite describe the unsurpassed magic of Santorini. This tiny Greek island in the Aegean Sea, rich in history & steeped in myth, is situated on the southern east tip of the Cyclades Cluster.

Upon arrival in Santorini port get transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is yours to spend in order to explore the island and admire the breathtaking view. Overnight stay in Santorini.

During this tour, you will have the unique chance to visit the active volcano of Santorini, walk on dried lava up to its peak, feel the heat underneath your feet and see the steam of sulphuric gases emerging from the earth bowels.

Next, you will sail to the thermal springs where you can dive or step down into the blue waters in order to swim towards the springs (35-36 C). Last you will visit the traditional sister island of Santorini, Thirassia, where you can either swim, go up to the village of Manolas or simply relax and have something to eat. Lastly, visit the port of Oia underneath Oia Village where you will walk up the steps to reach the Village in order to enjoy one of the most amazing sunsets in the world. After the tour, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Enjoy your last few morning hours in Santorini Island. According to ferry schedule, transfer to the port of Santorini to embark on the ferry for Athens. Upon arrival at Piraeus port, transfer to hotel in Athens City Center.

Frequently asked Questions

How fit do I need to be to do this trek?

Annapurna Base Camp is a Grade B or a moderately difficult trekking route. So any fit person can do this trek, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will to, you can.

How long do we walk every day when doing Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.

What is the highest altitude reached in this trek?

The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, hot water facility could be free at lower elevation.

Are there ATMs on the way to Annapurna Base Camp?

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.

What about internet access?

Yes. Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.

Is it necessary to hire Guides/trekking agency for Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during off season.

It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.

How much do guides and porters cost?

For Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
